Easter Egg Hunt
2:00 p.m. 7 April, Heritage Park Museum

Easter Egg Hunt at Heritage Park Museum! Hunt for eggs amongst the historic log cabins. 2:00-2:30 p.m.: 5 and under egg hunt. 2:30 p.m. on: all ages hunt. Egg dyeing, face painting, refreshments, and more eggs. Please bring your own basket. Children should be accompanied by adults. Admission by donation.

Northwest Regional Heritage Fair
7-11 May, Skeena Mall

Much like a science fair for history, students between grades four and ten participate either by presenting a project or by attending the associated events, such as ecological walking tours, historical tours of Terrace, and guided museum tours. Displays will be in the Skeena Mall throughout the week. Participation is free and all activities will take place during school hours.

Canada Day Celebrations
1 July: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Heritage Park Museum

At the twelfth annual Canada Day Celebrations at Heritage Park Museum, enjoy live music and dancing, multicultural foods, horse rides, children’s games and activities, art exhibitions, and historical demonstrations like horse logging, live blacksmithing, and natural dyeing. Admission by donation.

Artists in Residence during the Summer Arts Festival
1 – 8 July, Heritage Park Museum

Tour the cabins to see local artists’ work displayed in the unique historic settings.

Arts Day Camps during the Summer Arts Festival
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon 2 – 6 July, Heritage Park Museum

Make duct tape wallets, weave a cedar rose, make your own jewelry, learn to knit, and do a French cultural craft. Dates and instructors will be announced. Free admission.

Lunch and Learn during the Summer Arts Festival
12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. 2 – 6 July

Arts-based discussions and lectures. Talks and speakers will be announced. Free admission.

Riverboat Days Pioneer Workshops
1:00 – 3:00 p.m. 6 – 10 August

Children’s workshops series, including ecological walking tours and historic activities. Specific workshops will be announced. Please call the museum for more information.

11th Annual Halloween Haunt
5:00 – 7:30 p.m. 31 October

Trick or treat amongst spookily decorated log cabins. Everyone welcome. Admission by donation.

Weddings
If you’re looking for a unique, beautiful and historic place to host your wedding, Heritage Park Museum could be the perfect fit for you. The heritage buildings offer a one-of-a-kind background surrounded by beautiful Terrace landscapes, making for breathtaking wedding photos. We offer both indoor and outdoor spaces for ceremonies, receptions, and photographs.

Cost is $200 for a full day or $50 an hour.
