Birthday Parties

Running out of birthday party ideas for your little one? Why not book your next party at the park? Just bring your party guests and cake; we’ll provide the rest. Possible activities include: tours, pioneer games, crafts, stilts, butter making, tug-o-war, water games, historic photo shoots in costume, face painting and more.

Cost is $5 per child.

Weddings

If you’re looking for a unique, beautiful and historic place to host your wedding, Heritage Park Museum could be the perfect fit for you. The heritage buildings offer a one-of-a-kind background surrounded by beautiful Terrace landscapes, making for breathtaking wedding photos. We offer both indoor and outdoor spaces for ceremonies, photographs and even receptions. Feel free to come up and check out the site as we are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., 7 days a week in the Summer and by appointment in the fall.

Cost is $200 for a full day or $50 an hour.

School Bookings

Bring your class in for an interactive, enlightening, fun and educational tour of our park. Heritage Park is available for class tours Monday-Friday, throughout the entire month of June.  Tours usually start at 10AM or 1PM but times are flexible to your needs.  Book now as tours are filling up quickly.

Teddy Bear Picnic

Join us at Heritage Park for a fun afternoon of singing, colouring and face painting.

Sing-alongs, story telling and some good old-fashioned fun and games will mark the beginning of what will be a great summer. Juice and water will be supplied but please bring along a packed lunch, picnic blanket, and of course, your favourite teddy bear.

Canada Day Celebration

Come out with your friends and family to Heritage Park’s annual Canada Day Celebration  for a day filled with cultural events, food and fun. There will be horse rides, children’s games, a musicians stage, First Nation’s dancers, a salmon barbeque, the singing of O’Canada, pipes and drums, as well as a silent auction and birthday cake.
