Heritage Park Museum holds several annual events which include: Canada Day, Riverboat Days Arts & Crafts Workshops for Children and the popular, ghoulish and macabre Halloween Haunt! 2010 Events
- Canada Day Celebration – Come join us at the Heritage Park Museum for a day of fun and games in honour of our country’s birthday, 143 years young! Drop by Heritage Park on Thursday, July 1st for a full day of fun and entertainment, including live music of all kinds, a BBQ, games for the kids, pony rides, local arts and crafts, a Silent Auction with tons of amazing items, and of course the usual exhibits at Heritage Park will be open for viewing, including our new exhibit “On with the Show.”
- EXHIBIT OPENING! - Friday, June 25, 7:00pm The Terrace and District Museum Society invite the heritage-minded community to attend the opening reception of Heritage Park Museum’s new exhibit: “On With the Show: Logging, Forestry and the History of Terrace.” The exhibit features stories, pictures and artifacts from the history of logging, sawmilling and forest management in Terrace and surrounding area. Light refreshments will be provided in Dix’s Dance Hall, and the exhibit will be open for viewing in the Johnstone Cabin.
- RIVERBOAT DAYS! – This year in celebration of Riverboat Days we will be hosting our annual Riverboat Days Arts and Crafts Workshops for Kids during the week, as well as a special reception to celebrate the opening of “Terrace At War” our new exhibit on Terrace’s military history, which will feature artifacts, pictures and stories of local men and women’s experiences of war and wartime.
