Heritage Park Museum will be taking time to honour mothers everywhere on Sunday, May 9 with a Strawberry Tea! From 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm we are inviting the public to join us for a great afternoon. The day will include good conversation, beverages, strawberry-related treats and music. Learn about the history of Mother’s Day. Blacksmith Shop Complete! Last summer a group of professionals and volunteers got together to build a building to house the collection donated by Don Parmenter. The shop features a working forge, which will hopefully be fired up this season so that Park visitors will be able to see a working demonstration of blacksmithing.
