Biography:

Jeremy Walker started his dream job in June 2018 as Manager for Mount Layton Hot Springs Farm where there are sheep, cattle, pigs, a large market garden, hayfields and a geothermal greenhouse heated by the large hot springs on site. Jeremy also raises and sells meat rabbits from home where his personal farm motto is “Happy Food is Healthy Food.” He has two beautiful daughters, Zoe and Karlee, and a two-year-old son, Sky. He has also worked doing bird, spawning fish, wildlife, marine and archaeological surveys for Kitselas First Nation where his partner, Maria Duncan, is from. As a strong believer in giving back to the community, he served three years as an Executive Board Member for the Terrace Community Garden, two of which he was elected president. This year, he is volunteering his time as a 4H Rabbit leader and looks forward to what 2019 has to offer.
