Dave Shannon has lived in the Kitimat/Terrace region for all but five years since 1970. He is retired from Alcan where he worked as a Professional Engineer with a keen interest in the applications of industrial statistics for quality improvement.

In this lecture, Dave will primarily talk about the Orchard Mason Bee, but will also share some of his knowledge on other native pollinators. With honey bees under threat for various reasons in North America, the Orchard Mason Bee is a great alternative for locals interested in increasing the harvest from their fruit trees.
