Heritage Park Museum will re-open in May,although with the nice weather we are experiencing we will be open to tours by appointment. We had a fantastic year last year and look forward to seeing everyone back again this year.

8th Annual HALLOWEEN HAUNT

We are hosting our 8th Annual HALLOWEEN HAUNT on October 31, from 5:00 to 7:30. 
Last year we had over 550 trick-or-treaters and their parents visit us.
We are currently looking for groups to participate in our Adopt-a-Building Program.  For Halloween we ask community, businesses or individual groups to ‘adopt’ one of the eight historic buildings.  They are [...]

Movies Under the Stars

We are really exciting for our upcoming Movies Under the Stars event happening August 14 and 28. Due to licensing catastrophe’s we have had to change our movie choices multiple times. We apologise for any confusion or inconveniences this may have caused. The movies to be played will be Fantasia (1940) on August 14th and Phantom of the Opera (1943) on August 28th.

Barkerville’s Theatre Royal Performs in Terrace

For the second year in a row Heritage Park Museum brings Barkerville’s Theatre Royal to town for a night of old-fashion family entertainment. On April 1, 2009 Barkerville’s Historic Town’s popular Theatre Royal cast will perform on the REM Lee stage in Terrace. Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased from the George Little House, Don Diego’s and at the door. The cost is $15.00 for an adult and $10.00 for seniors and students.

Our New Website

We are so excited to have our new website up and running! Local History Week

As some of you may know November 18 to 21 was local history week hosted by Heritage Park Museum and the Terrace Public Library. I was suppose to hold a book cleaning course teaching participants how to use 3 commercial products to do a basic cleaning on old books.
