13th Annual Halloween Howl!

Heritage Park Museum is hosting our thirteenth annual Halloween Howl from five to seven p.m. on Friday, October 31st. As this is the thirteenth year, we are offering thirteen prizes for creative and coordinated costumes! For the past three years, the Henry family (pictured above in their Wizard of Oz costume from Halloween 2013) has won the prize for best-dressed family.

If you’re brave enough, compete with them for the best-dressed family, or vie for one of our twelve other prizes, to be handed out by the volunteers at each cabin. Prize categories include: spookiest costume (two prizes), best duo, best trio, most creative costume (two prizes), cutest costume, best-dressed family, funniest costume, strangest costume, best homemade costume, best-dressed baby, and most historical costume.

Children are invited to trick-or-treat amongst the historic log cabins at Heritage Park Museum. The cabins will be spookily decorated by different groups and volunteers from across the community, including Canadian Parents for French, AFFNO, Volunteer Terrace, and the City of Terrace.

Thanks to First Line Security, the candy sponsors, there will be thousands of candies, as well as hot drinks and a photo booth. First Line Security is also providing security for the event, so you can rest assured that this will be a safe, family-friendly event.

Everyone is welcome, and admission is free or by donation.
