As some of you may know November 18 to 21 was local history week hosted by Heritage Park Museum and the Terrace Public Library. I was suppose to hold a book cleaning course teaching participants how to use 3 commercial products to do a basic cleaning on old books. Including:
This workshop was cancelled due to lack of interest and poor weather. We hope to be able to offer the workshop again at a later date.
I also started working on the restoration of the Land Division Map of the Skeena area from 1919 during this week. And though I made a lot of progress the map is still far from complete. I will be working at the Library periodically over the next month or two and post times that you can pop in see the progress, ask questions or just say hello.
